# browser_extensions

> Other installed extensions in a connected Chrome/Chromium or Firefox browser (extension mode only).

Other installed extensions in a connected Chrome/Chromium or Firefox browser (extension mode only). list/info show name, version, enabled state, permissions and options page; enable/disable change the enabled state; uninstall asks the browser to remove one and the user must confirm in the browser; open opens the extension's options page in a tab; message sends one JSON message with runtime.sendMessage, which only reaches extensions that list Browspark in externally\_connectable. Off until the user enables "Other extensions" in the Browspark dashboard. Browspark itself cannot be managed. Extension storage cannot be read. Extension pages are automatable only when the user allows it, in Chromium, for the options tab opened here.

<Note>The tool names stay the same across browsers. See [browser selection](/reference/multiple-browsers) and [Firefox and Zen exceptions](/reference/firefox) before choosing an operation.</Note>

<Note>Extension mode only, and off until the user turns on Settings → Other extensions in the Browspark dashboard (which also needs the browser's management permission). Cannot read another extension's storage, cannot bypass externally\_connectable, and never manages Browspark itself. uninstall shows the browser's own confirmation. Options pages are automatable only in Chromium, only when the user enables Share options pages, and the browser may still refuse the debugger; chrome://extensions and store pages stay blocked. Firefox opens options pages but cannot automate them.</Note>
